For the last New Moon, New Book of 2023 (ohmygods!!!) Scorpio and Gemini read Karl Herr's Hex and Spellwork: The Magical Practices of the Pennsylvania Dutch, a book that wasn't what either expected! An interesting end to the 5th year of Witchspace Podcast to say the least.

Besides being enamored by the book's structure and it's loving approach to Ukrainian magic, Gemini and Scorpio discuss why they read books with magic they won't do and whether or not they are tenderheaded. 

What's up witches? Instead of talking about Samhain again in Year 5, we decided to talk about Samhain! Specifically, what's the deal with witches being SO into Halloween, what Scorpio's perfect Samhain would look like and the pressure on witchy girls to be perfect Samhain baddies on the 'gram and otherwise.
